Born in Malaysia, Yiap grew up in Australia, and is now based in Perth, Australia. His Facet-nation 2007 graduation collection prompted a slew of awards, media attention, and invitations to exhibit. In July 2008 Yiap was showcased in STYLEAID, one of Australian most important fashion-community fundraiser events.
